New for 2017, we are introducing an Art Fair to the Scottish Traditional Boat Festival.  Find a collection of our local skilled and talented artists and photographers in the Art Fair in the Town Hall, Portsoy over Festival weekend.

Bryan Angus
Bryan’s images are of the landscape and heritage of the Banffshire Coast, created as lino prints, paintings and cards.  Bryan lives in Banff and leads workshops and exhibits around Scotland.  See Bryan’s work here.

Cath Roberts
From the west coast Arisaig Marina to Gourdon Harbour on the east coast, all have been painting subjects for Cath, who works with heightened colours using a palette knife to create popular quirky artworks.  Find Cath’s work here.

Ewan Thomson
Ewan’s work focuses mostly on the north east of Scotland’s coast, from little textures on drift wood to full blown storms, he likes to capture the things most people miss.  View Ewan’s photography here.

Hilary Postlethwaite
Hilary, who was brought up in Portsoy, showcases original oil paintings, including new works for 2017 based on recent Boat Festivals. She will also have available giclee prints and cards of selected paintings.

Rae Osborne
Rae records the unusual and beautiful scenery of the north east of Scotland, enhanced by creating still life images, for example light painting, onto the sensor or capturing bubbles.  View Rae’s work here.
