AT THE WALLY GREEN
On Saturday at 1.30pm and 3.00pm and on Sunday at 12.30pm and 2.45pm, the Clydebuilt Puppet Theatre presents 30 minute shows: Finn MaCool’s Great Battle Of Trickery With The Scottish Giant Mcgonigle. (Free entry). The hero of our story is Finn MaCool, biggest and strongest giant in the whole of Ireland. There lived in Scotland another giant, his name was McGonigle, a great big burly fellow who heard the fame of the Irish heroes and crossed the sea to do battle. Can Finn MaCool defeat the McGonigle with the help of his clever wife Oonagh?
On Saturday from 12.00 to 4.30pm. The amazing Mr Bubble Man will be showing us the fascinating things you can make with soapy bubbles!
On Saturday and Sunday at 1.00pm Teddy Bear’s Picnic. Derek Merson will be at the Home-Start Deveron tent in the Wally Green at 1pm on Saturday and Sunday for a Teddy Bear’s Picnic. Remember to bring your teddy!

On Saturday at 2.00pm, join the Walking Theatre Company in a performance of Treasure Island (Free event). The Walking Theatre Company invites children to dress as a pirate, take along your parrot and maybe discover some treasure! Join Jim “Lad” Hawkins on an intrepid
Visit the Scottish Exotic Animal Rescue. Come along on Saturday and get hands on and learn all about these amazing animals. The charity was founded by Nick Martin and is based on the outskirts of Inverness, Scotland. S.E.A.R takes in all exotic animals of all shapes and sizes from members of the public, police seizures and the SSPCA and RSPCA.
Macduff Marine Aquarium. Join staff from the Aquarium and get a feel for seashore life. Meet a variety of local marine critters up close and find out all about their lives at the sea’s edge. We are lucky to get a visit from the Aquarium staff whilst the Aquarium is closed for a major refurbishment.
Aberdeenshire Mobile Library Pop in and listen to a tale come to life with our wonderful storyteller, Derek Merson, or maybe have a go at some arts and crafts.
Beside the Salmon Bothy we will also have the ever-popular bungee trampolines and for this year the cups and saucers. Wee Rascals Entertainment will be there to provide face painting and glitter tattoos.

Loch Soy – Find a host of adrenalin fuelled activities for kids of all ages, including activities on land, on water and on two wheels! See page 42
Art Fair in Portsoy’s Town Hall – You’ll find an art and craft workshop where you’re invited to create what you can see though the porthole. (Free activity)
Old Harbour – Visit the NorthLink Ferries marquee to collect your map for the Vikling Treasure Hunt, successfully find all the Vikings hidden around the Festival and receive your prize. (Free activity)
Grain Store – Build a lighthouse with Fraserburgh Lighthouse Museum or join Techfest and learn how to build a boat. (Free activities)
Culbert Street – Don’t miss the 80m water slide in its new and better location!
