Make A Splash And Sign Up for the Boat Festival Raft Race

An undoubted highlight of each boat festival is seeing teams taking to the water in all manner of crafts and costumes to compete in the raft race.

The water-borne competition is a big part of the festival fun and draws a huge crowd of spectators who delight in giving the intrepid rafters encouragement as they attempt to stay afloat and race across the new harbour waters.

It’s a colourful spectacle, with a highly coveted prize for the best dressed team, as well as prizes for the first, second and third placed rafts.

Be sure to register as soon as possible as the number of entries will be capped.

All crew members have read and accepted the Raft Race Guidelines
All crew members are, or will be, age 16 or over on day of the race
All crew members will bring and wear lifejackets / buoyancy aids for the duration of the race
